Can I see a camera live view and download video footage if the vehicle's ignition is not switched on?

Yes.

Providing you order the ignition remote switch on relay at the time of order.

We install a relay that connects to the tracker unit and camera wiring. From any internet device that has the Fleet Witness program downloaded, simply send a command to the tracker unit to turn it on.

Depending on the reception area, it usually takes around 1 to 2 minutes for the MDVR to turn on. You can then connect remotely and see a live view from all the cameras, preview, and download a video file of the incident you require. Send another command to turn it off when finished.
